I wrote this track because I feel these frustrations about the school system. I'm 14yrs old. Dyslexic. My strengths are in the creative subjects but as the system stands I feel these are not really celebrated. I can't do all the subjects I want because I HAVE to cover the governments agenda of learning. Teach to the Test is what it all feels like. These are my opinions and based on some of my own experiences so far.
I timed the release of this song to clash with the biggest Exam to be taken on this day, GCSE Maths in the UK. 1000's and 1000's of people sitting it right now...just to get onto the ladder!

Just can't spell words 'write',
Struggle with my left and rights,
I was told in a poem you can't rhyme,

Science means nothing to me,
Can't pronounce half the words,
Don't understand most of it,
Don't no why it is what it is,

as long as I can do it,

But as soon as the test over,
Don't matter if I do or don't,
Learning all these formulas,
What's the point of it,
Don't even know,
My own phone Number,
What's the point,
when I can just google it, and,
Sitting these exams one after the other,
Just to get on to the ladder,
With a system that don't care,
Care about me,
They just want me to be a cog in a wheel,
Killing my creativity,
The lowest rung of society,
